TAWNI PIZZAGONI

SENIOR TEACHER

Tawni’s dance training first started in the studio, where she performed with the company teams at Dance Connection Performing Arts Centre in Concord, California. Her early training consisted of ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and contemporary technique. She then continued to study modern dance techniques throughout college at Diablo Valley College (DVC) and San José State University (SJSU), and Mills College. During her senior year at SJSU, she joined the student pre-professional dance company, University Dance Theater, where she performed both jazz and modern pieces. She currently holds a bachelor’s degree in both applied mathematics and dance, as well as a Master of Fine Arts Degree in dance at Mills College. She has been teaching Western concert dance in the Bay Area for 9 years and is excited to be back in the studio every day to dance and teach.
